We are thrilled to announce that Sparc Hydrogen has won the SA Climate Leader Award in the Business and Industry - Small to Medium Enterprise category!

Our innovative photocatalysis project, which produces hydrogen via photocatalytic water-splitting without the need for electricity, is recognised for its potential to revolutionise the hydrogen industry and contribute significantly to global net zero goals.

After successful lab and field validation at CSIRO’s Newcastle solar thermal facility, we are now scaling up SPARC-H2 with commencement of front-end engineering and design (FEED) for our pilot plant.

This plant will be a global, first-of its-kind, facility planned to be located at the University of Adelaide’s Roseworthy Campus. This advancement will help global industries transition to zero-emissions, affordable hydrogen, promoting renewable energy adoption across the world.

Congratulations to our team and project partners and special thanks to Denis Wright for representing Sparc Technologies at the event. More info: https://www.environment.sa.gov.au/topics/climate-change/premiers-climate-change-council/2024-sa-climate-leaders-award-winners
